ABOUT US
The South-East Eagles Basketball Club was formed in 1984 in the SABA Competition and joined the Knox Amateur Basketball Association in 1986.
When the Club joined the association we were known as the Knox Eagles Basketball Club and our uniforms were yellow and blue. The Club was formed with five teams, two girls and three boys. By the time we joined the KABA Competition our numbers had risen to twelve teams and they were graded from A to C.
The Club slowly grew to 19 teams over the next 10 years and during this time the uniform was changed to light blue with white and royal blue trim.
In 1995 the Club changed direction with a new committee and administration and a new focus. Since this time we have grown to become the biggest Club in the Knox Basketball Inc. competition with 70 teams being entered in the Summer 2006 Season.
It was during this growth that the name of the Club changed to South-East Eagles which enabled us to attract players from all over Knox and the surrounding areas. More recently we changed our uniform to the current colour of teal and black with white trim, the most modern uniform in the competition.
We presently have over 500 active players representing more than 300 families in our junior competition and a further 10 teams in the senior competition.
